Becomes the eighth winner of 11 foals from a ten-start maiden mare. One of the oldest in this field. Smart Scottish stable with strong 2yo record, started favourite. OUCH!

I love listening to managers like Arsene Wenger moaning about referees and anything else they can blame their problems on.... How do you explain this one Voyeur? Arsenal led 3-0 after 10 mins and 4-0 at half-time. Newcastle scored four times in the second half to draw level. Final result 4-4. Over £1m matched at 1.01/1.02.... That's a gubbing of enormous proportions... (Voyeur is a Special1TV reference if you were wondering)

Bwin to bid for Newcastle?

I thought Bwin had become a billion-pound business by making shrewd business decisions - I doubt buying Newcastle United FC would ever fit into that category! Austrian firm Bwin makes Toon takeover enquiry It's one thing sponsoring successful clubs like AC Milan and Real Madrid, but owning an under-performing money-guzzler like Newcastle? And how would the Football League look at a club being owned by a betting firm?

They say 2-0 is a dangerous scoreline

Three Premier League teams today threw away 2-0 leads.... Man City, 2-0 up v Fulham, matched for plenty at 1.05 or shorter (low of 1.02) and lost 3-2. Birmingham led Liverpool 2-0, matched at 1.09 and drew 2-2. West Ham led Newcastle 2-0 early on, matched at 1.13 and drew 2-2. Never be afraid to lay a short price when a team is ahead - you're not risking much and the potential reward is great!
